The Western Ohio Hockey Referee Association (WOHRA) was established in 1996. Our purpose is to provide officiating that is consistent and of a high technical caliber for all categories of hockey within the greater Dayton area.
WOHRA provides officials for the Dayton youth hockey associations, the South West Ohio High School Hockey League, NFHS, other various High School club teams, the University of Dayton, and other various USA Hockey sanctioned leagues & games.
WOHRA has both male and female referees of all levels. All individuals who complete the USAH officiating requirements and pay the nominal WOHRA dues are eligible to officiate games in our association.
There is a separate sanctioning process for High School officials (NFHS).
